I am SO excited to share with you today.  I have a product to tell you about that is absolutely so fantastic it will knock your socks off.  In Cincinnati there is a company called GRAETERS.  Let me tell you about them.  Its an old German family thats been in business since1870.  They make Ice Cream in copper French pots by hand in small batches. (SUPER GOOD ingredients).  Now the best part is that they also do terrific hand dipped chocolates.  So as the ice cream is being churned they slowly pour that wonderful chocolate into the pot.  This results in (not little waxy bits like some ice cream) but BIG chunks that hit your tongue and melt like heaven.  WOW!  I did a "remote" for my show AT HOME WITH BEVERLY NYE at their plant and could hardly keep from drooling as I watched that process.  Some of the flavors you will love are Black raspberry chip, coconut chip, chocolate chip, mint chip and mocha chip.  Don`t be mislead by the word "chip".  it should say chunk !  :)  Now , hold on to your hat! ! !  It is now available around the country.  In Utah we can get it at Smiths Grocery so check your area. (Its often in stores with Kroeger connections)  It comes in pints and be careful, you`ll want to eat it right out of the carton !  Other than being the BEST ice cream I have ever had, it is not full of fillers and additives.  I claim to be an ice cream connoisseur, having sampled in nearly every state in the union as I traveled with P&G, my books and speaking tours.  Take my word for it friends, there really isn`t any better..As you can see in my picture,  I am always spoon ready, dreaming of my next bite.  Can`t wait to have you try it.  Let me know.

Now, as if thats not enough let me share another indulgence that cant be beat...........

                                          Heavenly Brownies
Melt  3 sticks of butter in a large sauce pan
remove from heat and stir in 3 cups sugar
                                              dash of vanilla
add 6 eggs and beat well
then stir in    1 cup cocoa
                     1  1/2 cups flour
                     1 tsp. baking powder
                     1 tsp. salt
then add 2 cups nuts (I like Pecans)
Spread in a lightly greased 9 by 13 glass pan
Bake at 350 for about40 minutes.  Don` overbake

These are SO easy to stir up and really are unbelievably yummy.

Well,  after this blog today,I hope you won`t hate me but we all deserve a treat now and then and they don`t get any better than this.   I love you all.  Stay in touch....Smile Always, Bev

  1. Yummy! I'll have to see where I can find it here in Colorado. Thanks for posting!

  2. Graeter's IS the best! I've missed it for all these years, and I'll be so happy if it's available in Oregon! I'll be on the lookout for it!

  3. Can't wait to try the ice cream. I'm most excited to see you have a blog! I can't wait to order your new book. I have loved all of your books and was sad that I couldn't get copies of Rainbows for my children, but now I can. Thanks so much!!
